Trappey came from the Humane Society at about 8 months old. He was a beautiful dog and we named him after our favorite hot sauce. He was too timid to play with toys, but quickly learned to trust us, enjoy toys, and wouldn't harm a fly. He lived a good life of 14 1/2 years! Not bad for raising a pig and a very big puppy named Barley.
Gravy was 9 weeks old when I bought him.
He was named after the lifestyle,
not the food. His gravy life included living in the house with blankets, pillows, and area rugs to aid his way around the tile floors.
Gravy outlived 4 dogs in his 22 year
Barley was only as tall as a beer can when we picked him from our friends litter. His father was a purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog and mom was a purebred Chocolate Lab. An amazing combination! His soulful eyes would sink right into your heart like an angel
on four paws! Barley's gentle spirit and love
graced our lives for 11 1/2 years.
I recieved the portrait as an unexpected gift from my brother. When I opened the package, I was moved to tears because the artist captured the sweet expression and love in my dogs eyes. For the first few weeks, I couldn't stop admiring the painting. Rhonda's talent is truly unbelievable and this gift will be cherished forever.
My name is Sandi and you did a portrait of my girls for Barry and I wanted to let you know I am thankful.
The email comes with a huge "HUG" and a big "THANKS" for the work you did on my girls. The portrait is awesome and you really captured the personalities of both my girls and I want to tell you how much I appreciate your hard work and time making this such a marvelous gift.
Thank you a million times...
Ya know, when I first saw your work on the web...I knew instantly who I wanted to paint Rusty...and now that I see the finished product, I am moved to tears by the sheer emotion that pours off the page...you missed nothing and you added what I think makes you and your work so special...the love. It is PERFECT!!
Thank you soooo much, Rhonda. I not only appreciate your talent, but your professionalism and customer service is without equal.
Rhonda, I just wanted to share that my husband,
(I gave him the painting you did of our four kitties
Nuhdz, Rupert, Lizzie & Yenta for his 50th a couple years ago)
still raves about it and this past weekend he was telling people about the best present he ever received.
Still loving it,
